Colette is a great provençal lady that has survived war difficulties and world changes with panache.

La belle collection created this côtes de provence with the prestigious château de aint martin (one of the 18 crus of provence) for its freshness and authenticity to remain in our memories and our palates.

Vintage 2017

Terroir Interior Argens’ valley. Mudstones red shale in fine clays, silts and limestone vermiculated.

Type of culture Trellised or goblet pruning vines. Low yields (50hl/ha).

GRAPE Grenache, Syrah, Cinsault, Carignan.

Vinification Direct pressing Short and cooled maceration (3 Hours) 13-15°C.

TASTING Served at 8 to 10°C.

GARB Beautiful crystal clear pink color with melon glints.

AT NOSE Pretty intense nose, combining red fruits and sweet notes of British candies.

IN MOUTH TThe attack is lively round and harmonious. Then come the aromas of crushed strawberries and bananas. Good length on the finish.

Character Freshness, authenticity, refinement, pleasure, elegance but also impertinence and conventions refusal.

Vintage 2016

Terroir Clay and limestone plains of the Rhone valley.

Type of culture Syrah often trellised to resist mistral wind. Low yields (50hl/ha).

GRAPE Black Grenache, Syrah.

Vinification Grapes 100% de-bunched, maceration in temperature controlled stainless steel tanks for about 15 days with pumping only after a pre-fermentation cold maceration. Aged in vats 18 months before bottling.

TASTING Serve at 17°C.

GARB Colourful with a beautiful purplish colour.

The nose Powerful but not too much. Intense fruit and spices aromas. Nice expression of blackcurrant berry and crushed raspberries.

IN MOUTH Fresh and fruity mouth. Good balance. Soft tannins, good volume, good presence and good length.

Character Aging capacities (5 years). Gourmand, typical, round and sensual.

Terroir Clay and Limestone, rich in bauxite.

Type of culture Reasoned control, in organic conversion.

GRAPE Syrah, Black Grenache.

Vinification Grapes from plot selection, traditional breeding inConcrete tank. Filtration and preparation of wines for bottling at the property.

TASTING Serve slightly refreshed at 15°C.

GARB Ruby red with purple reflections.

The nose The aromas of red fruits, especially cranberry (Cranberry) and blackcurrant combine with the notes of sweet spices bringing a beautiful complexity and a Mediterranean style.

IN MOUTH A gourmand and round mouth, reminiscent of the red fruits appreciated in the nose, with acidulated notes that bring a beautiful freshness.

Character Firm, fleshy, spicy, precise, reliable, deep, endearing, warm, cheerful.

Terroir Clay and limestone, vineyard close to the sea (freshness).

Type of culture Reasonable agriculture in organic conversion.

GRAPE Ugni blanc, Marsanne, Sauvignon, Clairette, Bourboulenc.

TASTING Serve at around 8°C.

GARB Pale yellow, golden & shining, with turquoise reflections.

The nose Subtle, finely iodized recalling the maritime nature of the Cassidain soil. Aromas of honeysuckle and broom ending on anise and citrus touches (zest grapefruit).

IN MOUTH The attack is fresh and invigorating, net mouth, fruity without soliciting (peach and fresh quince), a beautiful volume, perfect combination of richness and acidity. The lively final will boost taste buds.
